Subject matter
[edit]From the contents of the two categories right now, I infer that Category:Compilers is meant to be two things: a supercat for Compiler theory, and a category for individual compiler tools; whereas Category:Compiler theory is meant to be a category for articles about bits and pieces of compilers, or things related to compilers — even if there's no academic "theory" behind them. (Right now, Compiler theory redirects to Compiler, which I think supports my inference.)
Does anyone think Category:Compiler theory should be exclusively for "theory" things (as opposed to "practical" or "miscellaneous" things)? --Quuxplusone 09:35, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
