Suggested merge

I suggest that these categorie be merged in to "Category:Economists," as "business theorists" are basically the same thing as "economists." Most of the categories are woefully underpopulated and thus are just taking up space. --Wassermann 14:52, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Business theorists are not the same as economists. Most economists do not study business. There is no minimum or ideal size for a category, and the size of a category does not determine its usefulness in categorizing the articles that belong to it. Even single member categories are acceptable to the community where they are part of a wider system, as has been agreed by emphatic majorities on Wikipedia:Categories for discussion time after time.
