Clients vs Implementations
[edit]Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Bitcoin Gold (BTG) aren't Bitcoin-BTC clients. They are independent implementations of the Bitcoin protocol (blockchain forks). Below are examples to illustrate the differences: Bitcoin Core, Bitcoin Classic, Bitcoin Unlimited and Bitcoin XT are Bitcoin-BTC clients. Bitcoin Unlimited and Bitcoin ABC are Bitcoin Cash (BCH) clients. Bitcoin SV node and Bitcoin Unlimited are Bitcoin SV clients.
