Is there any objection to moving the ballet dancer by nationality categories directly to the ballet dancers category? Doing so would make them more accessible. Robert Greer (talk) 22:57, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Occupation by nationality is quite useful. Questions I have are how many articles, I find categories going over multiple pages unwieldy and a pain to navigate, particularly for sub-categories. Maybe if the dancer articles were included in Category:Dancers by nationality as well as Category:Ballet dancers that would work. Other categories appear redundant such as Category:Danseurs and Category:Ballerinas. rather than this one.
There may be a policy on the 'Occupation by nationality' categories. The category rationalisation you are wanting to do should probably also be discussed at WikiProject Ballet and WikiProject Dance
