@331dot: I'm sorry, but I can't quite tell what you want to do. The templates such as {{ElectionsME}} do not link to any other categories and should not link to this one either. Huon (talk) 23:03, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Huon:. Sorry. I'm probably not being clear. On this category page there is a box with a list of years in it; when I click over to the 2016 category, this one is not displayed as a link. I would like to do what is needed so this is displayed as a link in the other year-based election pages. 331dot (talk) 23:41, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Category:2016 ballot measures does seem to have a link to the 2017 category in the {{Year by category}} template, though, as do all other corresponding categories in the 2010s (that exist). Huon (talk) 00:37, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
