This category should only reference films from 2011-2020. Films from 2010 are part of the previous decade ie., 2001-2010, and are not properly categorized here. This is not a matter in controversy, as this question was definitively & publicly resolved back in 1999, when there was some confusion about when the Third Millenium (as well as the 21st century, and by extension, the 201st decade) began. You are confusing "decade" with a specific century. A decade is any ten year span. The 21st century is a specific 100 year span. Yes, 2001-2010 is the first decade of the 21st century, but we are not talking about that. Please see the links in the category description. 2000s links to 2000s (decade) describing it as follows, "The 2000s was a decade that started on January 1, 2000 and ended on December 31, 2009. It was the decade in which the 21st century and 3rd millennium began." Thus, for example, the "1990s" is from 1990-1999.
