This category was nominated for deletion on 19 December 2006. The result of the discussion was rename and prune to US originated shows only.
It wasn't, however the article also deals with the earlier versions of the show with Gene Siskel that date back to the 1970s, so it qualifies. Unfortunately due to limitations in how category listings work, we can't create a pipe that'll put an appropriate name in there. 23skidoo00:49, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just wondering what qualifies a show for inclusion in this category? The paragraph says that it is shows that originated in the US during the decade and I take that to mean shows that began to air during the '70s. I guess it could also mean just shows that aired during the decade, but it would seem pointless to me for every show to be in a category for every decade that it aired. There are ending categories as well as debut categories for series debuting and ending in certain years, so I would think that as long as a series had those categories it wouldn't need ever other decade that it aired, only the original decade that it started. Any thoughts on this? (I'm copying this to the television wikiproject talk because I'm sure people won't be watching this, so discussion may happen there also.) Phydend15:19, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
