Gayle feels very strongly that the articles on the Apollo program astronauts who traveled to the moon need to say "people" or "humans" instead of "men." As a result, Gayle has been aggressively changing the articles to reflect his or her opinion on the issue since at least December 2008. When the issue was discussed at WP:SPACE and consensus did not agree, Gayle's response was to threaten "total war" [1].

Socks of Gayle sometimes edit abortion-related articles to assert the view that Planned Parenthood "is a terrorist group" [2], the "prolife movement will never die" [3], and "viva la Regean revoluation" [4].
