Category:Radio stations in Mexico with continuity obligations
Mexican radio stations that were approved to migrate from AM to FM in 2008 or 2016, but which must remain on AM after the initial simulcast period because of coverage obligations. In these cases, shutting off the AM stations would cut people off from radio service.
This does not guarantee the AM remains, however. XHEJ-FM, for instance, was found to have had its AM off already when it was ordered to shut it down to make way for a new station on its frequency.
XHXY-FM is not listed because it never apparently came to air. More information from the Federal Telecommunications Institute and the 2018 list of stations with continuity obligations: [1]
