These books have won the annual Guardian Children's Fiction Prize, a once-in-a-lifetime award for authors recognising a fiction book for children or young adults, published in the United Kingdom (for many years restricted to British and Commonwealth authors).

The Prize was inaugurated for the 1966 publication year and there have been 47 Prizes, winning authors, and winning works in 45 award cycles through 2010/2011.
