Category:Flora of the Channel Islands
This category should include plants, native or endemic, found in the Channel Islands, as defined by the World Geographical Scheme for Recording Plant Distributions (WGSRPD).
This category is a geographical, not political, circumscription. It includes the flora of the major islands of Alderney, Guernsey, Jersey, and Sark. As well as the minor islands of Herm, Jethou and Brecqhou.
This category follows the WGSRPD, in which the Channel Islands are treated as part of France, despite not being a part politically. Thus this is not a subcategory of Category:Flora of Great Britain, in which other islands off Great Britain are included.
This category should ideally exclude plants grown, invasive species or introduced by humans.
