Category:Districts of the United Kingdom

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Districts are units of local government in the United Kingdom, introduced in 1973 and 1974. In Scotland and Wales they were abolished in 1996, but they continue in England and Northern Ireland. Districts have or had different functions in the four constituent countries of the United Kingdom.

For districts in the sense of neighbourhoods or suburbs, see Category:Neighbourhoods in the United Kingdom.
