Description: This category tracks articles using shortened footnotes employing an unknown rationale. The template {{Note short footnote unknown style}} is used to place an inquiry on the talk page of such articles and places the article in this category. After comments establish what the style is, an appropriate notice is placed on the talk page for citation maintenance purposes. This category will be emptied as article styles are identified, and may occasionally have no members.
