In addition to these native species, the following amphibians are naturalised or expected to naturalise in Western Australia:
- the Spotted Grass Frog (Limnodynastes tasmaniensis) was accidentally introduced to Kununurra in the 1970s, and has established there;
- the Cane Toad (Bufo marinus) occurs in the Northern Territory close to Western Australia's border, and is expected to spread into Western Australia within the next five years.
