Locomotives classified 1Co+Co1 under the British or Commonwealth classification of locomotive axle arrangements. The 1Co+Co1 wheel arrangement consists of two six-wheeled bogies with an articulated connection between them and with all axles powered by individual traction motors, and each bogie with an unpowered pony truck on the outer end.[1]
- The equivalent AAR wheel arrangement is 1-C+C-1.
- The equivalent UIC classification of locomotive axle arrangements is (1'Co)(Co1').
