Carlos Enrique Palacios Núñez (born 20 July 2000) is a Chilean footballer who plays as a midfielder for Colo-Colo and the Chile national team.
Club career
[edit]Palacios is a youth product of Unión Española and made his professional debut with the team in 19 February 2018 in a 1–1 draw against Deportes Antofagasta.[2] He scored his first in 5 October 2019 in a 1–1 draw against Universidad de Concepción.[3]
On March 22, 2021, he was announced as a new player for Brazilian Série A side Internacional[4] on a deal for a year on loan from Unión Española and a transfer promise for additional three years.[5]
Following Internacional, Palacios switched to Vasco da Gama in April 2022.[6] The next year, he was loaned out to Chilean club Colo-Colo.[7] In the second half of 2024, Colo-Colo purchased 50% of the rights of the player.[8][9]
International career
[edit]In November 2020, he received his first call up to the Chile senior team for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Venezuela,[10] making his international debut in the match against Venezuela.
