Carabus sylvestris is a species of either black or brown-coloured[1] ground beetle in the Carabinae subfamily that can be found in Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, and the Netherlands.[2]
