The Cape Coast Technical Institute is an institute established in Ghana in 1955 by the late Joseph Kadish Abraham.[1] It was formerly known as The College of Architecture and underwent several name changes until 1976 when it was absorbed into the national system by the Government of Ghana and adopted its present name.[2]
CCTI places a strong emphasis on practical learning, encouraging students to participate in practical activities and visits to gain in-depth knowledge in their chosen field. Through experienced faculty and staff, CCTI strives to provide its students with the best possible education and training to help them achieve their goals and succeed in their chosen fields. CCTI is committed to helping students achieve their career goals, providing the tools and support necessary to do so for them.[3]
Purpose
[edit]The stated purpose is "To provide students with knowledge, values and competencies in technological skills and desirable qualities so as to fit in the world of work."[2]
Vision
[edit]The stated vision is "To be among the best Technical Institutes in Ghana and Africa at large."[2]
