Cañada Nieto is a village in the Soriano Department of southwestern Uruguay.
Geography
[edit]The village is located on Route 96, 21 kilometres (13 mi) southeast from Dolores and 19 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of its intersection with Route 19.
History
[edit]On 22 September 1954 its status was elevated to "Pueblo" (village) by the Act of Ley Nº 12.137.[1]
