Brad Gesimondo (born October 28, 1994),[1] commonly known as Brad Mondo, is an American hairstylist, entrepreneur and social media personality.[3]
Early life
[edit]Mondo was born in Franklin, Massachusetts on October 28, 1994. He has two brothers, Eric and John. In his childhood, he followed in his father's footsteps as a hairstylist.[4][5] He started his YouTube career at the age of 12, and was a sales associate with Calvin Klein at 16.[6][7] Mondo is gay.[8][9]
Career
[edit]Mondo became popular through his "Hairdresser Reacts" videos on social media[10][11] and educational videos on hair styling.[3][12][13][14][15] He has also styled celebrities such as Charli D'Amelio,[1] Vanessa Hudgens, Heather Marks, and Shay Mitchell.[16]
Mondo founded the hair care products brand XMondo Hair in 2019[16] and launched XMondo Color in November 2020.[17] He won the Hair Influencer of the Year award at the 2020 American Influencer Awards.[18][19]
