Boghuma Kabisen Titanji is a Cameroonian medical doctor and clinical researcher. She is an expert on HIV drug resistant viruses.[1]
Education and work
[edit]Boghuma Kabisen Titanji, clinically trained in Cameroon, received her MSc and DTM&H in Tropical Medicine and International Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in 2010[2] and a PhD in Infectious Diseases studying HIV-1 cell-to-cell spread and Antiretroviral therapy drug resistance from University College London in 2014.[3] Titanji's work focuses on the mechanisms of HIV transmission and antiretroviral drug resistance. In May 2012, she gave a TED Talk on the ethics of medical research in Africa.[4]
