"Body II Body" is a song by Irish singer Samantha Mumba, released as the second single from her debut album, Gotta Tell You (2000), on 16 October 2000. David Bowie's 1980 song "Ashes to Ashes" is sampled heavily in the song.[1] "Body II Body" reached number two in Ireland, number five in the United Kingdom, number nine in Iceland, and number 14 in Australia.
In 2001, It was featured in a seatbelt PIF by the DOE in Northern Ireland, called "Michael".
Music video
[edit]An accompanying video for "Body II Body" exists. It shows Mumba waiting at a gas station for a Jeep to come by, being driven by a man (who slightly resembles Black Eyed Peas member Taboo) to see her friends and dance together.
