Black 17 Media is an American independent Drift phonk record label based in Newyork, United States. Founded in June, 2015 by Tyler Blatchley[1] and Bryan Hubert, the label released music from artists in the Drift phonk genre, including Eternxlkz, Kordhell, VØJ, Narvent, DVRST, and INTERWORLD.[2]
Founding
[edit]Black 17 Media was founded by Tyler Blatchley[1] and Bryan Hubert[3] in June 2015, after serving at Sony Music and The Orchard between 2017 and 2018.[4]
The label has grown by many time through implementing various marketing techniques such as TikTok Curation[5], and YouTube collaborations.
Milestones
[edit]One of the Black17Media's artist, Eternxlkz has secured his position in billboard charts with his tracks "SLAY!" At #22[6] and "Brodyaga Funk!" At #44[7]
