Big Creek (Salt River tributary)
Appearance
Big Creek is a stream in northern Ralls County in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] It is a tributary of the Salt River.
The stream headwaters arise just west of the community of Rensselaer (at 39°40′14″N 91°33′19″W / 39.67056°N 91.55528°W) and flows east to southeast to its confluence with the Salt about four miles west-northwest of New London (at 39°36′41″N 91°28′50″W / 39.61139°N 91.48056°W) at an elevation of 499 feet (152 m).[1][2]
Big Creek was so named on account of its size.[3]
