Bidupur is a community development block in the Vaishali district in the Indian state of Bihar.[3] Bidupur is one of the 16 blocks of Vaishali district.[4] There are total 24 Gram Panchayats in bidupur block[5] And There are 116 villages in Bidupur block.[6] Kacchi dargah-Bidupur bridge will become the largest bridge of India in 2024.[7] Bidupur is fastest developing after Hajipur in vaishali.

History

Bidupur is a place of historical importance. One of Gautam Buddha's disciple Anand has got parinirvana here. There is a bhinda in Madhurapur where many things of ancient history have been found. Many early paintings, scriptures, and stones are there.[8] Every year after Durga Puja a mela and kirtan are organised to remember Anand. The kashthariya sahashralingam mandir in Bidupur is also a place of historical importance.[9] There have been plans to expand Patna to Greater Patna, which would entail absorbing Bidupur.[10]
