Bertsa is a genus of true bugs in the family Miridae.
Characteristics
[edit]Elongated oval shaped body, attenna with four segments.[1] The white band on the dorsal of the insect marks the difference between this genus with others within the same tribus.[5]: 482 [6]
Distribution
[edit]This genus is distributed in warmer area of East Asia, South East Asia and South Asia. They have been found from Japan[5]: 472 to South Korea[5]: 469 , Mainland China[5]: 469 and Hong Kong[6]。
Species
[edit]So far only two species have been described:
- Bertsa lankana (Kirby, 1891): Seen only in the warmest provinces of South Korea[5]: 469 , southern provinces of Mainland China[1][5]: 469 , Taiwan,[7][8] as well as the area spanning from Indonesia to Sri Lanka.[5]: 472
- Bertsa major Zheng, 2004[1]
