Ben Marsden (born 19 May 1993) is a British rock guitarist, known for his collaborations with The Wildhearts, the Warner E. Hodges band and The Spangles

Career

With Warner E. Hodges Band

Marsden has been in the 'Warner E. Hodges Band' since 2018.[1] He Plays Guitar and backing vocals.[2]

He has contributed on 3 Albums since he has joined:

  • Live At Bootleggers (2019) [2]
  • Just Feels Right (2020) [3]
  • Soul Shaker (2023) [4]

With The Wildhearts

Marsden joined the Wildhearts at the start of 2024.[5] He played a series of shows with them under the nickname 'The Moodswingers'[6] as a warmup for their headlining Shepherd's Bush Empire,[7] where he was a guitarist alongside Ginger Wildheart, Jon Poole and Pontus Snibb.

With The Spangles

Marsden is a founding member of The Spangles, alongside Polly Phluid of The Idol Dead and Ginna Rhodes of The Main Grains.

They have released one album and one EP:

  • #Sweet FA (2018)
  • Boys Just Wanna Have Fun (2021) (EP)

They have toured alongside Wolfsbane (band) in 2023[8] touring across the UK with them and playing 12 days.

Their current lineup has drummer Ace Carlton playing with him, still alongside Polly Phluid.
