Beloceras is a genus of ammonites included in the family Beloceratidae.[1] These fast-moving nektonic carnivores lived in the Late Devonian period, from 379.5 to 376.1 Ma.[2]
Similar and related genera include Eobeloceras, Mesobeloceras and Naplesites.[2]

Description
[edit]Beloceras species can reach a diamenter of 9–13 centimetres (3.5–5.1 in).[3][4][5] They are multilobate ammonoids, with a suture line composed up to 50 lobes.[6]
Distribution
[edit]Fossils of species within this genus have been found in the Devonian sediments of Australia, France, Germany, Morocco and Spain.[2]
