Baudilio Hichos

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Baudilio Elinohet Hichos López (died April 29, 2021) was a Guatemalan politician.

He served as a member of the Congress of the Republic of Guatemala from 1991 to 2016, representing Chiquimula for the National Change Union.

In 2016 he lost his Parliamentary Immunity, after being accused of abducting and killing political opponents during the Guatemalan Civil War, and resigned from Congress, before going on the run. He eventually handed himself in in 2019.[1]

Hichos died from COVID-19, aged 68, in 2021.[2][3]
