Balloonerism is the upcoming seventh studio album by American rapper Mac Miller. It is his second posthumous album since the release of Circles in 2020. It was being worked on by Miller around the time he was working on Faces (2014). The album will be released posthumously on January 17, 2025.
Background
[edit]Many of Malcolm's fans were aware of Balloonerism. It was an album that had great importance to him, to the extent that he commissioned artwork for it and discussions concerning when it should be released were had regularly, despite it not being released for over a decade.[1]
Balloonerism was revealed on November 21, 2024 through an animated promotion video released through the Mac Miller Youtube channel.[2] It will be released on January 17, 2025.[1]
