Azekah Daniel (Urdu: اذیکہ ڈینئل) is the Pakistani actress. Daniel played a leading roles of Noor Jehan in Noor Jehan (2015), Hooriya in Malaal-e-Yaar (2018), Sara in Tera Gham Aur Hum (2020), and Aira in Mein (2023). She is further known for her roles in Aao Laut Chalain (2016), Balaa (2018), and Cheekh (2019).[1][2]

Personal life

Daniel is from Karachi, Pakistan. She belongs to a Christian family. She received her early education from St. Michael's Convent School, and later on she went for a university degree in Karachi. She was also in cabin crew of PIA before going into acting. She lives with her family in Karachi.[3][4]

She received significant viral press coverage for her loudly exclaiming "Be humorous, not rude" during a live comedy show.[5]

She Joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) political party of Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, on 7 May 2023.[citation needed]
