The Armenian National Legion (Armenian: Հայկական լեգեոն) is a military formation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, created from Armenian volunteers. The unit was formed in June 2023.

Symbolism

The official ensign of the Legion is the ensign of the Kingdom of Any, which is an informal symbol of the military community in Ukraine.

Specialization

The specialization of Thia Legion includes aerial reconnaissance tasks, the use of Attack Drones and Kamikaze Drones and Ground Operations.[1]

Creation

After the meeting of the Prime Minister of Armenia with representatives of the Armenian Union of Ukraine in Moldova, a proposal was made to create an Armenian legion. The creation event was attended by the first Ambassador of Ukraine to Armenia, Oleksandr Bozhko, as well as politician Dmytro Korchynskyi.[2]
