Aristide Berto Cianfarani

Aristide Berto Cianfarani (August 3, 1895 – February 19, 1960)[1] was an Italian born American sculptor noted for his monuments, war memorials and ecclesiastical works.
Biography
[edit]Cianfarani was born in Italy in 1895 and emigrated to the United States in 1913.[1] He studied at the Rhode Island School of Design as well as in France and Italy.[2] He worked for the Gorham Manufacturing Company in 1917 and 1919, and the International Silver Company from 1923 to 1925.[1] He started his own studio in Providence, Rhode Island in 1926.[1]
