Anthony Merulla is an amateur poker player and lawyer[2][3] best known for winning the 2014 Unofficial Texas Hold'em World Championship (World Poker Tour).[4][5][6]
Other results include a fourth-place finish in the 2011 World Short-Handed Poker Championship for $208,281; and a third-place finish in 2009's edition of the Unofficial Texas Hold'em World Championship for $236,452.[4][5][6]
Merulla plays a stack size-dependant game meaning he decides which cards to play in according to his stack size.[7]
As of July 2024, Merulla's total live tournament winnings exceeds $1,400,000.[1]
