Ana María Guzmán Zapata (born 11 June 2005) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Frauen-Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the Colombia women's national team.
Club career
[edit]Guzmán trained as a player at Club Sueños Dorados de Mistrató and at the age of 11, she joined Club Atlético Dosquebradas.[1] In 2022, she began her senior career at Deportivo Pereira.[2]
On 19 September 2023, Guzmán signed a four-year contract with Bayern Munich of the Frauen-Bundesliga.[3]
International career
[edit]At the youth level, Guzmán was part of the squad that finished in second place in the 2022 U-17 World Cup.[4] As part of the U-20 squad, she competed in the Bolivarian Games and was part of that team that won the gold medal.[5]
Guzmán was called up to the senior squad for the first time in September 2021.[6] On 4 July 2023, she was added to Colombia's 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup squad.[7][8]
