Altınsu (Kurdish: Şapatan)[2] is a village in the Şemdinli District in Hakkâri Province in Turkey.[3] The village is populated by Kurds of the Zerzan tribe and had a population of 4,931 in 2023.[1][4]
The hamlet of İncesu (Seraro) is attached to the village.[2][3]
The village is mainly engaged in agriculture.[5]
