AlMadar AlJadid (Arabic: المدار الجديد) is a Libyan government-owned company established in 1995 and based in Tripoli, Libya.[1] It was the first mobile network operator and data provider in North Africa, now one of two major state-owned mobile operators in Libya through LPTIC.[2] The company holds a significant share of the market, with over 5 million subscribers across government institutions, businesses, and individuals. It recently expanded its services to include 3G+ and 4G+ coverage in most Libyan cities and is currently testing 5G technology.
