Alexander Bertrand is an Australian actor. He played the lead roles of Pasquale Barbaro in Australian Gangster and Les Norton in Les Norton.[1]

After stints in security, snowboarding and kickboxing, Bertrand enlisted in the Australian Army. After being discharged due to a knee injury, he trained at a drama school in 2015.[2] In mid 2018, he filmed the role of Pasquale Barbaro in the Channel Seven mini series Australian Gangster, which was based on the real life gangster of the same name. The series was completed that year but did not air until 2021 due to ongoing court cases.[3] In 2019, he played the titular character in ABC's Les Norton. The character of Norton was a doorman in Kings Cross, a job Bertrand had worked himself while he was studying drama.[4]
