Ahmadabad (Persian: احمداباد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Layen Rural District of Hezarmasjed District, Kalat County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[3]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 454 in 112 households, when it was in Hezarmasjed Rural District of the Central District).[4] The following census in 2011 counted 406 people in 116 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 480 people in 141 households.[2]

After the census, the rural district was separated from the district in the formation of Hezarmasjed District. Ahmadabad was transferred to Layen Rural District created in the district.[3]
