Afghanistan competed at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, from 18 August to 2 September 2018.[1]
Afghanistan first participated at the Asian Games when the first Games were in Delhi in 1951. The country had won five silver and 6 bronze medals until the last event at Incheon in 2014.[2]
