Ace is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language film written, produced and directed by Arumuga Kumar under 7Cs Entertainment. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Rukmini Vasanth in the lead roles, alongside Yogi Babu, Divya Pillai, Babloo Prithiveeraj, B. S. Avinash, Muthu Kumar, Raj Kumar, Denes Kumar and Alvin Martin.

The film was officially announced in May 2023 under the tentative title Vijay Sethupathi 51, as it is the actor's 51st film as the lead actor, and the official title was announced a year later. Principal photography commenced the same month. It was shot predominantly in Malaysia, and wrapped by late-November. The film's music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran, cinematography handled by Karan B. Rawat and editing by R. Govindaraj.

On 19 May 2023, 7Cs Entertainment officially announced that they would collaborate with director Aarumuga Kumar and Vijay Sethupathi.[1] Both the director and actor previously collaborated for Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren (2017).[2][3] Tentatively titled Vijay Sethupathi 51, Rukmini Vasanth was cast as the female lead, in her Tamil debut. Yogi Babu was also cast in a prominent role.[4] Principal photography began the same month,[5] and wrapped by 30 November. It was predominantly shot in Malaysia.[6][7] The film's official title, Ace, was announced on 17 May 2024.[8] Composer Justin Prabhakaran, cinematographer Karan B. Rawat, editor R. Govindaraj, production designer A. K. Muthu were revealed to be a part of the technical crew.[9]
