Abdullah II of Kanem

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Abdullah II Kaday was the king of the Kanem–Bornu Empire from 1315 to 1335. The cousin of Ibrahim Nikale, he succeeded Nikale after Nikale lost a power struggle with the Yerima, the leader of the north. He was also the king who brought a return to the patrilineal succession of the earlier Sefuwa kings.[1]
