A History of Algeria is a book by James McDougall and published in 2017 by Cambridge University Press. The work is an overview of the history of Algeria from the sixteenth century until 2016.[1]
Structure

- The Unfinished Revolution, 1962–1992
- The Fragile and Resilient Country, 1992–2012
The work concludes with an afterward and bibliography.[2]

[edit]James Robert McDougall (born 1974) is a British historian. He is a Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at the University of Oxford and Laithwaite Fellow in History at Trinity College, Oxford.[5]
