28 Years Later Part II: The Bone Temple is an upcoming post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Nia DaCosta, from a screenplay by Alex Garland and Danny Boyle. Produced by Columbia Pictures in association with BFI, DNA Films and Decibel Films, it will serve as the direct sequel to 28 Years Later (2025) and the fourth installment in the 28 Days Later film series.

[edit]In April 2024, a sequel to 28 Years Later (2025) was in development, with Nia DaCosta in talks to direct and Alex Garland returning to write the screenplay.[1] In June, DaCosta was confirmed to direct the film, and the title was revealed to be 28 Years Later Part II: The Bone Temple.[2]
Filming
[edit]Principal photography began on August 19, 2024, in North Yorkshire.[3] In September, Cillian Murphy was spotted filming scenes in Ennerdale at Bowness Cottage.[4]
