2025 USF Juniors

The 2025 USF Juniors presented by Continental Tire will be the fourth season of the USF Juniors. The championship serves as the fourth rung of the IndyCar Series' USF Pro Championships ladder system.

  • The scholarship for the champion was decreased by approximately $14,000 to $249,675.[1]

Drivers and teams

All drivers will compete using Tatuus JR-23 racecars with Elite Mazda 2.0-014A engines and Continental tires.[2]

Driver changes

Exclusive Autosport signed karting driver Kaylee Countryman who will make her open-wheel racing debut with the team.[3] The team resigned Brendan Cooley for a full-season campaign after competing with them in the final three races of the 2024 season.[4]

Jay Howard Driver Development signed JT Hoskins to a full-season campaign after racing with the team part-time last season.[5]

VRD Racing added rookies Matan Achituv and Ryan Giannetta to the team.[6][7] João Vergara switched to VRD Racing after finishing 8th last season with Exclusive Autosport.[8]

Schedule

The 2025 schedule was revealed on September 17, 2024. The championship will visit a majority of the same circuits as in 2024, with the exception of Virginia International Raceway being replaced with two more rounds at Mid-Ohio.[9] All rounds except the weekends at NOLA, Mid-Ohio races 7–8, and Road America will run in support of the IndyCar Series.[1]

  • The driver who qualifies on pole will be awarded one additional point.
  • One point will be awarded to the driver who leads the most laps in a race.
  • One point will be awarded to the driver who sets the fastest lap during the race.
