The 2024 South Alabama Jaguars football team will represent the University of South Alabama as a member of the Sun Belt Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They will be led by first-year head coach Major Applewhite and will play home games at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.

South Alabama head coach Kane Wommack was hired by Alabama as its defensive coordinator.[1]

On September 12, 2024, South Alabama scored 87 points in a victory over Northwestern State, the most by any FBS team since 1991.

Defensive back Jaden Voisin was awarded to be in the preseason All-Sun Belt first team defense, respectively.[3] Wide receiver Jamaal Pritchett and defensive lineman Wy'Kevious Thomas were named to the second team offense and defense.
