The 2024 ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League will be the inaugural edition of the Global Super League.[1] It will feature 5 club teams from 5 countries competing in 11 matches from 26 November to 7 December 2024. It will be held at Providence Stadium in Providence, Guyana.

Background

The Global Super League will be an international club cricket tournament, organized by Cricket West Indies.[2] The inaugural season will be held in Guyana,[3] with 5 club teams from Australia, Bangladesh, England, Pakistan and the West Indies, where invited from domestic competitions One-Day Cup, Bangladesh Premier League, T20 Blast, Pakistan Super League and Caribbean Premier League respectively.[4]

Format

The 5 teams will play once against each team in a round-robin stage for a total of 10 matches. The top 2 teams based on the points table will advance to the final match.[5]

Prize money

The total prize money for the competition is US$1 million.[6]

Venue

All matches will be held at the Providence Stadium.[7]
