The 2024 FIBA Under-17 Women's Basketball World Cup (Spanish: Copa Mundial de Baloncesto Femenino Sub-17 FIBA 2024) was the eighth edition of the FIBA Under-17 Women's Basketball World Cup, the biennial international women's youth basketball championship. The tournament was hosted in Mexico from 13 to 21 July 2024.[1] This marked the first time that Mexico had host a FIBA global tournament. It was also the first time the tournament was held outside of Europe.[2]
To be eligible for this competition, players must be born on or after 1 January 2007.[3]
The United States won their sixth world cup title, after defeated Canada 84–64 in final.[4]
