The 2024–25 National Cricket League, also known as NCL 2024–25 or Modhumoti Bank National Cricket League 2024–25 (for sponsorship reasons), is the 26th edition of the National Cricket League, a first-class cricket competition in Bangladesh. There is no two-tier system in this season. All eight teams will play every other team, followed by a final.[1] Dhaka Division is previous season's champion.[2] The tournament was scheduled to begin on October 14, 2024, but the Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) tournament committee ruled that rain had rendered several stadiums, including those in Bogra and Khulna, unsuitable for play. As a result, the first round began on October 19, and instead of concluding on November 28, the tournament will now end with the final which begins on December 3.[3][4][5] After the four-day final, the 2024–25 National Cricket League Twenty20 series will run from December 11 to December 23.
This time the National Cricket League structure is changing. The tournament reverted to a Round-robin league format, moving away from the two-tier system.[6]
Sylhet Division clinched their maiden NCL title in this season,[7] and Dhaka Metro finished in second position.[8]
