The 2024–25 Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball team will represent Texas Tech University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season as a member of the Big 12 Conference. The Red Raiders are led by second-year coach Grant McCasland, and will play their home games at the United Supermarkets Arena located in Lubbock, Texas.

Previous season

The Red Raiders finished the 2023–24 season 23–11, 11–7 in Big 12 play to finish in a tie for third place. As the No. 4 seed in the Big 12 tournament, they defeated BYU in the quarterfinals, before losing to Houston in the semifinals. The Red Raiders received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 6 seed in the South Region, where they were defeated by NC State in the first round.[1][2]
